Admission to the school

Please note the deadline for admissions is February 1st, 2010

How to Apply to ALG

  1. Sign up for a tour Prospective students and their parents are invited to visit ALG, play along with the children, meet the teachers, and contact parents of enrolled children. Please note that the entrance to the school is located on Varnum Street (look for the big, colorful Amazing Life Games sign).
  2. If you think ALG would be a good match for your child, fill out and submit an Admissions Application to the school (available as a Microsoft Word document or PDF document). Fall admission decisions begin in March and continue as space permits. To be considered at the start of the placement process for September 2010, submit your application by Feb. 1st.

Our Admissions Process

When considering admissions, a number of factors are considered, including scheduling, co-oping hours, gender balance, the date of application, whether the child is a sibling of a current or alumni family, and our goal to reflect our diverse community.

Tuition is based on hours and number of days attended, and parents' level of co-op participation. See the 2010-2011 tuition chart to find out tuition levels for a particular situation.

ALG has a limited scholarship fund for families needing financial assistance. Scholarship amounts vary depending on the need of the family, although all families pay some portion of tuition. To apply, please submit a record of family income (tax form, pay stub, etc.) and a letter, and submit them with your application form.
