For the past forty years, Amazing Life Games Preschool (ALG) has been developing the minds of children ages 2.5 to 5 years of age in Washington, D.C. 

Recognizing that each child has innumerable gifts and abilities, ALG supports children by encouraging what comes naturally to them, play.  Highly trained teachers foster each child’s natural curiosity of and care for the world around them.  Families contribute their unique experiences and talents to the school by participating in our cooperative.  Children leave ALG ready to embrace, question, and contribute to their

community. 

As parents, we have so many concerns when sending our children for their first "school" experience. We want our children to be stimulated and challenged without being overwhelmed, and encouraged to explore the world and develop independence without being pushed beyond their ability. We hope that our children will learn to develop their first social relationships with ease.

Play is such an important part of a child's development that it is written into the United Nation's Declaration of the Rights of the Child. It is a principal that is valued and practiced daily at Amazing Life Games Preschool.
