“Our daughter spent her days playing and learning as she engaged with other children in activities such as gardening, capoeira, yoga, art, music, and many, many more. She learned important skills that helped prepare her for kindergarten (and life), especially how to play & interact with other children, resolving conflicts, taking control of her own learning experiences, being independent, caring for people & animals, being a member of a community and treating people with respect. As for traditional school subjects, she gained proficiency in the basic concepts & abilities that prepared her for learning reading, writing and math, including the sounds of letters, dexterity, one-to-one correspondence and others.”
